Random Trader — Privacy Policy

Random Trader ("the app") is published by QuantSignals, Inc. It is a focused client for viewing and, when you connect your own account, trading Kalshi Bitcoin event contracts under configurable risk rules.

The short version

Random Trader has no account system of its own, no analytics, and no advertising. Your Kalshi API credentials, trading rules, and local trade record stay on your device. Account and order requests go directly from your device to Kalshi, not through a QuantSignals server.

Data the app stores

• Your rules, bankroll, and flip log. Stored only in the app's local storage on your device and not transmitted to QuantSignals. Deleting the app deletes them.
• Your Kalshi API credentials. If you choose to connect live trading, the API key ID and private key you provide are stored in the iOS Keychain. They are used on-device to sign requests sent directly to Kalshi. QuantSignals does not receive or store these credentials.

Data the app does not collect

QuantSignals does not collect your name, email, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, location, tracking identifiers, Kalshi credentials, account balances, positions, or orders. The app contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

Network connections the app makes

• Kalshi. The app requests public market prices. If you connect your own Kalshi account, it also sends signed account and order requests directly to Kalshi so it can display your balance, positions, orders and P&L and carry out the manual or AUTO actions you request. Kalshi's handling of those requests is governed by Kalshi's own terms and privacy policy.
• App updates (Expo Application Services). On launch the app may check for an updated version of its own code — standard technical metadata only.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.

The app's probability bands and execution rules do not predict market outcomes or guarantee performance. Nothing in the app is investment advice. Event contracts involve substantial risk and can lose the entire amount staked.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the app changes. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
